Hi!
My name is Raquel and I am 20 years old right now. I am Portuguese, from the city of Montijo and I have 3 sisters. My mother is a cook and my father is an artisan, and they have been together for 35 years.
My favorite color is white and my favorite animal is the lion. I have a little dog named Puppy, who has nothing since he was little, and I love to eat pizza.
Since I was little, I have always liked to draw, as well as defending animal and environmental causes. For this same reason I am a vegetarian and I try to live as sustainable a life as possible. Examples of something that we could all do: use of products made by national labor and without the use of chemicals and plastic packaging (such as shampoo, conditioner, face creams, deodorant, perfume, among others); second-hand clothes shopping (very, very, very rarely I buy things in fast fashion stores); minimal use of plastics (I use cloth bags, bamboo brushes, among others) and I try to live a minimalist life consuming as little as possible (believe me, it's hard when it comes to artistic material).
I am in the 12th year of the Visual Arts course and I intend to pursue higher education in something related to the Visual Arts. Drawing and painting is probably my favorite thing to do in life. I also love reading books, listening to music, seeing plays and opera, going for walks and being with my family.
Now, a basic list of things that annoy me. If you are ever with me, you already know what NOT to do.
- Call me Anna.
- People who do not sit in the window seats on the bus. They sit in the "inside" seats. This is extreme, really. What is the need? The bus is going to fill up and no one likes to queue up to ask if they can be seated!
- The fact that the school bar closes at lunchtime. I mean, shouldn't we be able to eat? Especially at lunchtime?
- Being in the mood to eat something, and when I get home someone ate for me. (It happens a lot when you have siblings).
- People chewing with their mouths open.
- People who say they can't without trying.
- When folding book pages to mark. MARKERS, please. They exist for something.
- The smell of vinegar.
- Loud music on public transport. I'm definitely in favor of freedom of expression, but don't think it applies here, my friends.
- People who expect me to respond quickly. Know that I must be one of the people who uses the cell phone less in the 21st century. My grandmother uses it more than I do, really. That said, don't expect anything from me, not in the sense of "responding fast", even because I almost always have my cell phone without internet. And no sound.
To lighten things up a bit, here's a list of things I love that usually make me calm and happy.
- Family (although many times they don't let me calm down).
- The smell of new books.
- See the sea, especially when it "smells" of the sea.
- Waking up and seeing that I still have a few hours to sleep.
- Laugh so hard that your belly hurts.
- Have a full piggy bank.
- No overdue work. loooooooooooooooooooo
- Buy new material.
- Eating sweets when I'm on PMS.
- Receive money. I looooooooove this one too.
Well, I hope you got to know me a little better.
